To most people, the Victorian style is the quintessential conservatory with its classical character and distinctive shape. But the Victorian conservatory, along with its neighbour, the Edwardian, offers a wide range of variants that means no two need ever be exactly alike:
• The rounded-end appearance of the Victorian conservatory can be achieved with either three or five straight facets.
• Should the outside door be at the end or on one of the sides? Think about moving freely around the furniture and which part of the garden or patio you would like to step out.
• A lantern roof can add etxra flair, especially to a larger construction.
• For larger designs the extended Victorian conservatory will provide a virtual curved end.
